Yarvia
Makeup advice online is written for everyone, which means it is written for no one. We built the coach we couldn’t find.

The problem
Shade guides assume you already know your undertone. Tutorials assume your eyes are shaped like the presenter’s. Shop lighting lies, and a lipstick is opened at home.
So we started from the other end: learn one face properly, then let every answer come from that.
The idea
One profile. Every feature reads from it.
- Skin tone and undertone, including olive
- Twelve-season colour type
- Face, eye and brow shape
- Skill level
- The products already in your bag

Decisions
Things we chose not to do.
The camera stays on the phone.
Live face tracking runs on the device. Live frames are never uploaded. Photos are sent only when you choose a photo feature.
Text first, no video.
Lessons are short steps on screen. Nobody wants to scrub a ten-minute video with a brush in one hand.
No sponsored verdicts.
Yarvia sells no makeup and takes no placements. If a shade is wrong for you, it says so.
One colour.
#A6051A on every screen and nothing competing with it. Makeup is colourful enough.
Measure before shipping.
New analysis logic runs against a fixed set of real faces first. If it gets worse, it doesn’t go out.
